The Youth Leader Network project within Ma3an program since its implementation has been a path creator for all its youth providing them with multiple opportunities to develop themselves community wise and skill wise
Haithem Hammami was interested in joining the YLN project to enhance his skills and seize new opportunities and because of his background in civil society as a member of JCI EL FAHS he knows the importance of these types of projects and he even engaged his fellow JCI members within the project, to gain new skills, and overcome challenges related to youth in EL Fahs.
Haithem Journey started with the pedagogic training of trainers where it was an » opportunity to see my mirror reflection as a trainer » as he said, Haithem gained the pedagogical skills and techniques of managing and facilitation a training session, followed by another Training of trainers in specific themes which they are Project management and entrepreneurship. the next chapter that impacted Haithem was the Youth leaders Network Hackathon where despite his civil society background, it was his first time working 24 hours straight no sleep and no rest and standing before a jury and pitching a project idea in front of adjucators

committee. as he Said »it was an unforgettable experience » that made him get closer to the rest of the Youth leaders strengthening the bond and relation between the youth leaders in Zaghouan.
the Hackathon and the Training of trainers sessions has allowed Haithem to gain more steps into becoming a resourceful trainer and allowed him to get back to Zaghouan with full enthusiasm to apply what he learned and transfer his knowledge for the youth of EL FAHS .
following the Success of his Cascade training sessions he got contacted by a previous professor of him when she noticed the training session poster of him on entrepreneurship and explained for him that the ministry of education had started working also on entrepreneurship for economic section high-school students with a new subject called ‘project idea’, Haithem didn’t hesitate to seize the opportunity and accepted to try one session and trained 59 Youth of Ibn Aljazzar High school students on the steps of project creation , the ideation phase, how to analyze and work on a project using BMC method, and all the technics that he gained in the training of trainers session within the YLN project . Meanwhile in the session an inspector from the ministry of education was present and noticed Haithem facilitation and training techniques and was impressed by the quality of the delivered training, and a few days later he got a phone call from this inspector thanking him for the good moderation of the training session and offering him the JOB of a « trainer with the CREFOC of professor.
Haithem represents what the Youth Leaders Network project is all about, engaging youth in their local communities and creating opportunities for them personally or professionally and still creating a path for youth across Tunisia.
