May Boussadia
May Boussadia established a series of art clubs for children in her community of Sidi Bou Ali in Sousse, driven by the lack of cultural activities and institutional support for children’s events in the area. Her initiative quickly gained recognition, and she became a well-known figure in her community for her dedication to enriching the lives of young people through art. The clubs she created are now thriving, with spaces located between the local public library and cultural center, providing children with the opportunity to explore their creativity and engage in meaningful cultural experiences.
After participating in a hackathon focused on cultural initiatives and gaining deeper insight into the challenges facing her region, May was even more determined to take action. She launched the art club project with fierce determination, motivated by a strong desire to contribute to the development of the community she lives in. Her vision and commitment turned a simple idea into a vibrant space for learning, self-expression, and social impact.
